Easy paved walking trail, dog friendly. Anyone can do it. However very crowded and hardly any masks in sight so just be aware of the risk! I use to live on this lake it was basically my backyard. Perfect for a short stroll around the lake.
It was very picturesque with Santiago Peak or Saddleback Mountain in the background, well-manicured trees and cut grass, and families enjoying the day. Very level intro cement hiking path. City put a workout circuit in a few years ago, a bit worn now. Parking in the Ralph's center is not really frowned on.
There are restroom and drink options in the marketplace. Some picnic green space to the top NE side of lake see little bump in path. Nice lake view, beautiful at sunset. The exercise stations made it extra fun as well. Use Navigator in the AllTrails app and join the other outdoor explorers who have completed this trail.
